Ursache prüfen

  1. Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to the intake/supercharging air temperature sensor for broken wires, corrosion, or loose connections.

  2. Test the sensor's resistance and voltage supply using a multimeter to verify if the sensor is functioning within its specified range or if it has failed completely.

  3. Check for other related fault codes (such as atmospheric pressure or MAF sensor faults) that could indicate a broader wiring harness issue.

Reparaturschritte

  1. Locate the Sensor

Identify the intake air temperature sensor on the intake manifold or charge air piping.

  2. Disconnect the Battery

Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical spikes.

  3. Remove the Sensor

Unplug the electrical connector from the sensor. Use the appropriate wrench or socket to unthread and remove the faulty sensor from the intake.

  4. Install the New Sensor

Thread the new OEM sensor into place and tighten it to the manufacturer's torque specification. Reconnect the electrical harness.

  5. Clear the Fault Memory

Clear the code using a diagnostic scanner, or manually via the Iveco blink code procedure: With the key turned OFF, press and hold the diagnosis button. While keeping the button pressed, turn the ignition key ON. Keep the button pressed for 5 seconds. Let go of the button, then turn the key OFF.

  6. Test Drive

Start the engine and perform a test drive to ensure the EDC warning light remains off and the engine operates without power reduction.
