Ursache prüfen

  1. Inspect the raising solenoid connector C251 (identified with a Red Band) and the front suspension connector C248.

  2. Verify connection integrity, ensuring the connectors are fully connected, undamaged, pins are in the correct position, and the fit is tight.

  3. With the key start OFF, disconnect the solenoid connector and the central controller to test the wiring harness for continuity, open circuits, or shorts to ground.

  4. Test the raising solenoid (PWM EDC valve) with a multimeter. The resistance of the solenoid should be between 6 and 8 ohms, and the signal frequency should be 83 Hz.

Reparaturschritte

  1. Locate the Fault

Use the diagnostic checks above to isolate the fault to the connector, the wiring harness, or the solenoid itself.

  2. Relieve Pressure

If the solenoid valve must be replaced, relieve the hydraulic pressure in the suspension system (e.g., by screwing in the knurled-head screw on the suspension raising solenoid valve to relieve the rebound accumulator).

  3. Repair/Replace

If the harness is damaged, cut and replace the faulty wire/connector using a New Holland harness repair kit. If the solenoid fails the resistance test, remove and replace the raising solenoid valve.

  4. Reassemble

Reconnect all affected connectors and ensure the harness outer covering is secure.

  5. Clear the Code

Once the physical repair is complete, clear the error code from the microprocessor's non-volatile memory.

  6. Calibrate the System

If a PWM solenoid valve was replaced, a potentiometer was replaced, or a mechanical repair was effected, you must perform a suspension/transmission calibration procedure so the controller can relearn the valve thresholds.

  7. Test

Test the front axle suspension system for normal operation.
